Have I told you how I excited I was to get the call from Solitude Mountain Resort that I was invited to film for the up-coming Warren Miller movie at my home resort??! Well, I was. After being a pro skier since I was 17 years old but stepping back to have children at age 30, I never thought I would get the call again. With a lot of help from my support network, husband and kid's school, we figured out a schedule so I could film from sun up to sun down with the Warren Miller crew for an entire week. It literally was the most fun I had ever had a on a shoot and I have filmed with a lot of different film companies over the years.
The ease of filming at Solitude Mountain Resort and being home before bed time was the most rewarding feeling. I realized again, that I can do this. I can be a pro skier and a stay at home mom at the same time. And I am so excited for the years to come. My dream of skiing powder and making videos with my friends into my 30s and 40s will most likely be my reality.
